CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. CPAP is used as a pressure stent to keep the airway open. By keeping the airway open, you are decreasing the obstructions of the airway and stopping continuous disruptions from occurring through your sleep, resulting in a more rested and consistent nights rest.
The device applies a light pressure to the airway via a mask, which can either go over the nose, in the nostrils or over the nose and mouth. Trialling CPAP before purchasing allows us to find the right mask fit for you and the correct settings to insure you have a comfortable nights sleep.
